The style the pros wear! Sure, they cost a bit more, but they are worth the price. Available in both plate and base styles with a relaxed fit. Snug fit waist band with double clasp front. In addition, the plate pants feature a double layer seat and knee area for added durability. Even sizes 30 to 52, unfinished length.
ALTERATIONS: Slacks have an unfinished length. We will hem them for an additional $12.00 charge if you desire. Please allow additional 5-7 days for hemming, even though in most cases it won't take that long.
These pants are the best that money can buy. I have several pairs of other brands, but non compare to these. I have found that I need four sets to keep around, but I do not carry all of them while on the road when working conference weekends. Even though I already know my position(s) before I leave the house things can happen during games when the umpire is pushed from plate to base and vice versa. (Injuries, absences., emergency leave, etc.) We work 4-game series on weekends, so I carry two pair of plate slacks and three pair of base slacks. The only issue that I have found with these slacks is that the tend to hold up better and look sharper if you have them dry cleaned, which I recommend 100%. I have to always take mine to my tailor for altering as I am not a 6'5", 230# individual. However, after my tailor is finished working his magic on them, they appear to be made especially just for me. Several other umpires and coaches have complimented me on the appearance of my slacks (and shirts.) The shirts, I wash on easy care cycle and then just touch up with a warm iron to flatten the collar and smooth out ant wrinkles. (Posted on 12/22/2016)
