Pricing and Specifications

Honig's makes every effort to insure the accuracy of our website. However, typographic, photographic, and/or descriptive errors are subject to correction. In the event that a product becomes unavailable, we reserve the right to substitute a similar brand or product of equal or greater value. In either case, we will attempt to inform you at the time of ordering. We reserve the right to limit product quantities to dealers, and actual shipping charges will apply. Merchandise prices and specifications are subject to change without notice. NOTE: Pricing of items in our Canadian Office are NOT reflected on this website. Items with the SALE! notation are temporary price reductions good for a limited time.

Shipping and Delivery

Honig's uses several carriers for package deliveries. These include, but are not limited to, UPS, FedEx Ground, and the US Postal Service. Third Party or collect is not available. Standard shipping and handling charges start at $8.95, and this includes ground delivery to the contiguous 48 states (carrier chosen by Honig's). Credit card orders can be upgraded to Expedited 2 Day Delivery at $19.95 within the continuous 48 states. (Delivered 2 business days after the order is SHIPPED.  Saturday and Sunday delivery are excluded.). Orders are shipped via standard delivery through common carrier for the actual freight charge plus $4.00 handling for delivery to Alaska and Hawaii. Standard delivery method is chosen by Honig's. Expedited Delivery to AK and HI is available for an additional charge. Please call for a quote. For Puerto Rico, APO/FPO, Canada, and other locations outside the USA, $4.00 handling plus the actual freight will be charged.   Please call for a quote.  We will make every effort possible to give you an estimate of this charge when you phone our office, however this amount will not be calculated through the website. This additional charge will be added to your online order upon shipping.

Please note that Honig's Whistle Stop reserves the right to charge additional shipping charges for oversized and over weight orders.  If additional charges are necessary, you will be notified by our customer service department of these charges before items are shipped.

Backorders

Honig's takes great strides to keep a full line of inventory throughout the year. In the event that an item needs to be backordered, we will make every effort to ship the product as quickly as possible, and we will pay the extra freight charges that incur (special orders, embroidery, alterations, or application of numbers or plackets do not apply). We will not accept backorders for items when delivery time is uncertain or when the scheduled delivery is not in the near future. CLOSEOUT! items will not be backordered and are sold out permanently when gone.

Gift Certificates

Gift Certificates issued by Honig's may be used toward merchandise purchased through our mail order catalog, at one of our US Regional Distributor offices, in person at one of the many camps, clinics and meetings we attend, or through our online store. However, we currently do not have automatic redemption functionality online at this time. Therefore, instructions for redeeming the certificate for online orders is available here.

Easy Returns and Exchanges

Returns and exchanges are handled without charge if done WITHIN 30 days. If you aren't 100% satisfied, merchandise can be returned for exchange, credit or refund WITHIN 30 days. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable. Click the link below to print a .PDF copy of our return form.

Send your package via UPS or the US Postal Service to the location listed on the invoice included with your merchandise. Return shipping charges are not refundable. For your protection, please insure the package for its full value. We will not be responsible for packages lost or damaged in transit. Returns received AFTER 30 days are subject to a re-stocking fee, IF ACCEPTED.

Special Note on Returns

Try on each item BEFORE you wear it for a game. Once an item has been worn, it MAY NOT be returned. SHOES are not returnable if worn, and are not returnable for ANY REASON after the original season for which they were purchased - shoes may only last one season!

HATS MUST BE RETURNED IN A BOX. We will not exchange, credit or refund any hat that is not returned in a box.

Slacks that have been hemmed or altered are NOT returnable and alteration charges are not refundable.

You May Not Return

Personalized or custom items that have been hemmed/altered, monogrammed, embroidered, lettered, or numbered; supporters, briefs or underpants of any kind; items that have been used, worn or washed; hats which have been creased.

Defective Items

PRIOR APPROVAL must be received before returning items that may be defective. We must receive and inspect the defective item before we can issue a replacement. If the return is due to an error on Honig's part, we will correct our error and refund your postage necessary to return that item, up to $4.50. Please contact us before returning item in question.

Shipping Policies

Contiguous 48 United States of America

We request that you always provide us with a street address, home or work, for prompt delivery. Shipping to a Post Office Box limits delivery options and can be prohibited depending on the size and value of the order.

Standard shipping/handling charge for Ground delivery of retail/non-discounted orders is currently starting at $8.95 per order. Discounted accounts will assume, at a minimum, exact shipping charges including insurance. Orders are shipped using Common Carriers based on cost effective delivery that may include, but not limited to, United Parcel Service, United States Postal Service, FedEx Home Delivery, FedEx Ground and DHL.

Expedited Two Day delivery is available at published cost plus $4.00 handling. 2-Day delivery LIMITATIONS: Weight cannot exceed 10 lbs dimensional (DIM) weight. No dealer orders. This delivery option may, at our exclusive discretion, use any of the above mentioned Common Carriers.  Saturday and Sunday deliveries are not part of the 2 day delivery.

Overnight service is available at published cost plus our standard shipping/handling charge of $9.95. Overnight orders must be received by 1:00 PM. Quotes of Overnight shipping costs cannot be given until order is processed for shipment and actual weight and dimensions are determined.

Please note:

We attempt to ship all orders by the next business day. Expedited shipping refers to the shipping method itself, and you must also allow for the time it takes us to process your order.

We attempt to ship your order out of the best possible location to serve you. That means our office nearest you, if everything is in stock. If not, we will usually ship your complete order from an office that does. Occasionally, to best serve you, it will be necessary to ship your order out of multiple offices. Orders containing Closeout items are shipped out of our West Coast office.

Therefore, you can count on us getting the order out quickly. But you can not automatically conclude that just because your last order took three days to reach you by normal shipping methods, that it will do so the next time.

Alaska and Hawaii

Orders are shipped via standard delivery through common carrier for the actual freight charge plus a $4.00 handling fee. Shipping charges will NOT BE LISTED ON YOUR ON-LINE RECEIPT and will be billed once the order is packaged and the freight charge determined and the order shipped. Delivery method is chosen by Honig's and may include (but is not limited to) USPS Priority Mail, UPS, or FEDEX.

Overnight service is available at published cost plus our standard shipping/handling charge of $9.95. Overnight orders must be received by 1:00 PM. Quotes of overnight shipping costs cannot be given until order is processed for shipment and actual weight and dimensions are determined.

Duty to Serve (APO and FPO)

We are proud to be the most efficient supplier of Officiating Gear to our honored Service Men and Women with shipments daily. Shipments are sent via Priority Mail at published cost plus a $4.00 handling fee. Express delivery is available at cost plus $4.00 handling. If Express delivery is required, please use the ‘Comments’ field of the Order Form to request. Shipping costs can be quoted before shipping upon phone request.

Puerto Rico

Orders are shipped via standard delivery through common carrier for the actual freight charge plus a $4.00 handling fee. Shipping charges will NOT BE LISTED ON YOUR ON-LINE RECEIPT and will be billed once the order is packaged and the freight charge determined. Delivery method is chosen by Honig's.

We have an office in Hamilton, ON that is the EXCLUSIVE distributor of our product line in Canada. Because we do not wish to undermine their efforts in any way, we reserve the right to decline any orders being shipped to Canadian addresses, or defer those orders to their office. We strive to be the Preferred Supplier of Sports Officials Worldwide. Shipments are sent daily to our friends outside our borders by Carriers including United Parcel Service, United States Postal Service and Deutsche Post.

Depending on the weight, dimensions and value of the shipment we ship using UPS Expedited, USPS Priority International Mail (Preferred), and USPS Air Mail Parcel Post. We charge actual shipping charges plus a $4.00 handling fee.

Shipping charges will NOT BE LISTED ON YOUR ON-LINE RECEIPT and will be billed once the order is packaged and the freight charge determined.

The following information is required to assure reliable delivery:

  • Full Name
  • Billing Address (where Credit Card Statement is received)
  • Shipping Address including Postal Code
  • Daytime telephone
  • Email Address

If a shipping charge quote is requested please use the ‘Comments’ field of the Order Form during checkout.

Common parameters:

  • *USPS Priority International Mail – for shipments under 4 imperial pounds to select countries. Four to fourteen business day delivery.
  • *UPS Expedited – for dense (compact) shipments. Three to four business day delivery.
  • *USPS Air Mail Parcel Post – for shipments to Common Carrier Zones incurring additional charges and large bulky (DIM) packages. Seven to fourteen business day delivery.
  • * The destination county’s Customs/Import Control regulatory agencies are almost always the cause of excessive delivery delays. Incorrect delivery addresses are another cause so please be specific.
  • * DIM – Dimensional Weight
